Dupont Circle

This is one of DC's most popular places to live!! With beautiful homes lining its streets, a walkable lifestyle, the hub for the hip, the international, and the young at heart, it offers a great place to live at one of the city's most expensive neighborhoods to either rent or buy a home. The majority of people who live here are young, well-educated professionals, including a large number of internationals, as well as many long-timers who have lived in the neighborhood for decades.
Homes in the area are generally a mix of brick row houses and mid-sized apartment buildings and condos. The most common property type are condos - most are two to four unit buildings converted from row houses. Single row houses have a million plus price tag. Central to the neighborhood is Connecticut Ave. It is packed with stores, bars, restaurants, cafes and on Sundays a farmer's market. Driving and parking are complicated and congested. The Red line Metro and buses are at the center of the neighborhood. It is a self-sufficient village with a big price tag.
